Amtrak's website quoted a round trip from Portland,OR to Santa Cruz,CA at a decent price. Are there seasoned travelers that could tell me if it's permissible to bring homemade sandwiches and protein bars on board so I can save money on food ? any suggestions for how I could cut cost even more ?... read more
